This is the season for Freddie Ljungberg to shine.

The future is now. After another underwhelming season, Arsenal needs a fresh start. Whether they attempt to accomplish this by taking risks or overhauling the squad, a lot needs to happen to ensure there’s still light at the end of the tunnel for the North London club.

Following the confirmation that Freddie Ljungberg will join Unai Emery’s coaching staff as an assistant first-team coach from the 1st of July, it looks like the club is starting to put the pieces together to build towards a better future.

Reviewing every Arsenal’s players season in 100 words or less.

For the third time running, it’s been a pretty underwhelming season for Arsenal Football Club. Targets haven’t been met and it seems like the transfer window will be quiet too. While it’s easy to criticise Unai Emery, the players need to take the blame too for some of this season’s failures. With that being said, I decided to review every single player in 100 words or less as well as rate their season out of 10.

*Must have played in at least five senior games, this season.

Arsenal’s Weekly Transfer Round-Up, 31st May

What a terrible week. With no Champions League football for a third successive season, it looks like this transfer window will be average at best for the North London club. Given the preparation for the Europa League final, it’s not exactly surprising this week’s transfer news has been rather quiet.
